Outdoor parking space
ACO provides comprehensive car parking drainage solutions to meet the surface water runoff, load class and pollutant challenges of the sector. ACO has participated in the car park construction of various projects, including shopping malls, airports, sports stadiums and so on.
ACO can offer the right products for the entire route that the stormwater runs through - management, cleaning, attenuation and storage.
Drainage performance
During heavy rain events, a large amount of rainwater may suddenly accumulate on the ground. The drainage systems of the parking lot must be able to cope with this unexpected condition. Large water intake areas and excellent drainage performance are the key factors that should be taken into account in the selection of drainage systems.
Personnel and vehicle safety
When choosing a suitable drainage system, application scenarios are the most crucial factor. In passenger vehicle parking lot where pedestrian traffic is relatively high, drains with narrow grating slots are recommended to ensure safety of pedestrian. For truck parking lots or access lanes for parking area, drains for heavy duty are the optimal choice (load class up to F900). ACO KerbDrain is particularly useful for parking lots with bus stops or roundabouts.
Wastewater treatment
In car parks, wastewater contaminated by gasoline, engine oil or de-icing salt can be seen frequently. The collection and treatment of the wastewater favors the environmental protection, and this is where ACO’s petrol and light mineral oil separators can help.
(Figure below shows the installation of ACO HMS heavy metal separator systems.)
Safe underground water-storage facilities
Soil subsidence or crack appearance can cause damage to underground water-storage facilities. The problem may occur in drainage systems used for stormwater attenuation and storage, if the durability or long-term loading capacity is not good enough. ACO Stormbrixx has been tested and fully certified with a long lifespan of 50 years.
Stormwater collection
Monolithic drainage channels offer optimal durability, loading resilience and protection against vandalism.
雨水清洁
Collected surface water from traffic areas, car parks and uncoated metal roofs or façades must be treated, to prevent sediments, tyre wear particles and heavy metals from getting into the sewers or nature. In addition to traditional light mineral oil separators, ACO offers heavy metal separator system and sedimentation system as well.
- Efficient treatment of wastewater to prevent contaminants from entering sewers
- Optimum solutions available varying in structure design, size, material and applications
雨水储存和下渗
Stormbrixx is suitable for:
- retaining rainwater
- storing rainwater
- attenuating infiltration
Unlike tradition solutions, transport cost of Stormbrixx is lower thanks to its stackable body elements, thus reducing CO2 emissions. The space demand in warehouse and construction site can be reduced by more than half as well.
Due to open structure, ACO Stormbrixx systems are fully inspectable and uniquely easy to install and maintain.
