Urban expressways and highways
ACO offers packaged solutions for highways and urban expressways. In addition to point drainage and line drainage systems, we also provide various stormwater treatment equipment to improve water cycle.
Meanwhile, we are experts in road drainage system refurbishment.
Highest level of security of the road
Surface water on highways must be removed quickly to prevent potential risks posed to vehicles, such as accidents occurring from aquaplaning due to stormwater in icy conditions. Besides, stormwater penetration should be avoided to minimize damages to the highways because of severe weather. Thus a reasonable planning of highway drainage system to reduce various risks appears especially important.
Treatment of hazardous liquids
Due to busy traffic or accidents, leakage of hazardous liquids may occur on the driveways. Potential risks may be posed to underground water and soil layer if the liquids enter drainage system with stormwaters. Therefore, collection, cleaning and treatment of stormwaters or hazardous liquids is necessary.
The ACO Monoblock is a drainage system with a monolithic design: the channel and cover are produced from polymer concrete in one casting. The result is an extremely stable unit without loose parts.
The polymer concrete material can withstand extremely high loads and stresses, is durable and wear resistant, which makes the Monoblock system have particularly long lifespan. Also, it can protect against vandalism.
Used for transverse drainage on motorways, the ACO Monoblock is safe and durable, reducing the frequency of maintenance and replacement: an ideal alternative to conventional solutions.
- Low acquisition and operational costs
- Less space demand with lower installation cost
- Optimum accessibility guaranteed for maintenance, cleaning and disposal thanks to removable cage component
- Implementation of separation effects even when coalescence filter is removed
Stormwater storage and attenuation
Stormbrixx is suitable for:
- retaining rainwater
- storing rainwater
- attenuating infiltration
Unlike tradition solutions, transport cost of Stormbrixx is lower thanks to its stackable body elements, thus reducing CO2 emissions. The space demand in warehouse and construction site can be reduced by more than half as well.
Due to open structure, ACO Stormbrixx systems are fully inspectable and uniquely easy to install and maintain.
